First Big Paint 2012

Just finished my first big paint session of 2012.

Mordian Blue Undercoat on 20 Saurus and 21 Skinks, Black Undercoat on 4 Deathmarks, Iyandun Darksun Undercoat on a fifth.  Some more yellow paint on my "crash test dummy" Necron Warrior, some watered yellow to gloss the legs and forearms of my "Evangelion 2" Necron Warrior, my olive green mix onto a Tau Fire Warrior (helmet, backpack, rifle and armour pads), Calthan Brown Undercoat on my Genestealers arms, drilled pin holes in the shooting platform of my Stegadon, drilled a pin into my Heavy Weapon Space Marine for his las-cannon and found that if I cut a bit of the missile rocket launcher and added a strip of magnetic tape I could interchange them.  Undercoated the Marine black.  Redid over the gold on my Necron Overload (conversion / scratch built) with Iyandun Darksun and added some new highlights with it.  Planned out the gold with the Iyandun Darksun on my 3 Necron Destroyers and my 3 Necron Lord (conversions - just need to make and attach arms with customised weapons on two of them and finish the "Sceptre of Resurrection" on the other).  Also Iyandun Darksun-ed where the gold will go on my Necron Cryptek.  All in all a good 3 hours work.  Only downside is that I had hoped to finish my converted Nightbringer Shard and Evangelion 2 Necron Warrior (sans basing) which didn't happen.

Might need to do a heap of basing soon as have quite a few outstanding to do, and with all those its worth setting aside an hour to do it during the day or instead of painting at night.  Maybe do the last bits on a couple and as they dry, base the rest?

Drafted 02-01-12.
