I have a book I list all my paint mixes in. Quite handy listing how you did something juts in case you need to go and do it again. On the bright side, I got some Necrons new and thought I would have a play. I mean, yeah, uniformity, but I figured if I was spending $60 bucks for 12 of the little bastards I was gonna play with it and have me some fun. I can't take photos to save my life.

Purple with blue and orange. |
This one is a purple base with a blue wash and orange eyes and gun coils. The acrylic is yellow. The base and background is a thing I made with my son on a big piece of wood. We used the sane theory as basing a model but on a way larger scale with way lot more glue, rocks, plastic and about a half can of spray sealant. He likes the green acrylic fish bowl rocks. He said if uses it to play Transformers he'll pretend they are Energon cubes.

Rusted. |
Okay, now I see that I cropped the pictures at the model and didn't resize uniform, other that 50%. Poopies. This guy is a brown base (I use brown base-coats a bit) with a bronze over the top. The funny looking off colour is my green mix as a wash and a metallic green as a wash. the aim was verdigris so the Necron looked ancient. Eyes and coils are red. Pity the camera doesn't have a macro function and I had to take the photo from a metre away and use the highest resolution.

Ceramic or Bone. |
Skeleton finish, brown base, bleached bone and two coats of brown wash, red eyes and coils. Yadda, yadda, yadda. Oh, gauss flayers are all chainmail with mithril highlights on black base. And again the image is smaller...
