I made some comments last year about synthetic skin being bio-engineered. Well it would seem that this skin is the next or now step. Its a compound derived from genetically engineered goats milk (the milk not being engineered, the goats are, and as such their milk has new properties - the goats having been engineered to make this new milk) which is then made into a skin. The goats and silkworms have spider genes in them. Read the article.
